BACK
This is a brainstorm of what I could do for a final, this is just a thinking process of what can be done with the things that I have learnt in this semester during this module.
So recently, I have been listening to this song by Flume called never be like you. I really like this song since the song has got an amazing bass. I then realised that I wanted to create visuals for this song.
These are some video inspirations that I got whilst I was looking around YouTube. I want to create moving particles or objects for the way that the sound of the music goes.
I then started to create this video by using the Flume music and ended with this. This was created in Blender by using particles. This is something that I have learnt on my own because haven't learnt particles and physics in class.

We had a presentation during on of our lessons. During this time, we saw other people's work and what they did in their pathways. I was then intrigued to see what type of sounds were created on the sonic music pathway. I then came across Zoe's Nemes work. Her music was much slower that the flume music but I like that it was and I like how the sound felt like it had alot of meaning. At this point, I realised that I wanted to work with Zoe. As the day went along, my friend Patrycja also enjoyed Zoe's music and that is how out group all formed together. ZOE, PATRYCJA AND I formed a group. So the aim for our final was to created visuals for the music that Zoe had created. Zoe created the sound and Patrycja and I are going to make the visuals.

MY BRAINSTORM
I then went out of my comfort zone and tried something new that I haven't tried before and I started to look at particles and fluidness of how the particles can move. This was pretty tricky to make and I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. The reason for this was because I had taken such a long time to make this animation but it wasn't even long enough, just in general I had problems with it.
After listening to the music over and over again, I wanted to create something different and something else. I them went onto looking at particles that look like droplets. On the left you will see some of the stage of the making of the animation. I then edited the video and added a rewind effect. LOOK DOWN BELOW TO WATCH THE VIDEO FOR THESE SCREENSHOTS!
This is an experimentation of lights. This was made in blender. The more nodes that I added, the more different the particles look. I then edited the video and changed the rewind to make an effect. I have also added Zoe's music to the visual experimentation.

WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A LOOK?
After all the weeks of planning of how I wanted my music video to be visualised, I finally made the video of my choice. This was the most enjoyable to make, I tried to experiment more and more with how I wanted it to look like. The group and I decided to stick with black and white but I made a happy accident and I mange to create a visual that I was happy about. I also managed to add sound onto my video via blender. What this allowed my to do was to create a visual that moved with the music. So therefore, when editing, I didn't have to edit as much because the music already fits perfect with the visuals. Overall i'm extremely happy with how everything turned out. I never thought that I would be able to create something on a program such as blender let alone create a visual for a fellow student's music.
THE FINAL VIDEO
This is also another video, which is part of the final. The whole point of the final is to merge the two videos together and project it on Zoe. This will show how she feels about the emotions of the song as this will represent her.
